Our Services
The Senior Center staff provide assistance to Seniors with a wide variety of services, including:
Medicare D (Prescriptions) & Medicare Advantage Plans
October 15th-December 7th is open enrollment EVERY year. Changes take effect January 1. Every year beneficiaries have the opportunity to make changes. MMAP (Medicare/Medicaid Assistance Program) for Seniors 60+ can call to make an appointment. Beneficiaries who are under the age of 60, can call 269-983-0177 and ask to speak with a MMAP counselor if we are unable to schedule an appointment. We apologize for any inconvenience. If you are 60+ and new to Medicare, please specify that when making an appt.
Tax Preparation & Michigan Property Tax and Home Heating Credits

This is a high demand service in our area. It is designed for low-income seniors who reside in Michigan. Please call 269-683-9380 if you have any questions.
Veterans' Service Officer
Berrien County Veteran's Service Officer can explain benefits available to veterans and answer questions on how to obtain assistance. You can call their office at 269-983-7111 ext. 8224 for assistance.
Monthly Podiatry Appointments
Jane Sherwin, RN is available to help clip your toenails! Call the center to make an appointment. She must have a note from your MD giving her permission first before she can assist you. Forms are available at Receptionist desk.
Blood Pressure Check
Lisa will preform blood pressure checks on the1st Thursday of every month from 9:00-11:00 a.m.
Hearing Health
Dr. Michelle Ridenour, Au.D., CCC-A is from Miracle Ear. Her services here at the center are FREE of charge. She is available to clean hearing aids, check for wax build-up & removal, to set-up free screenings, and answer your questions. Come meet Dr. Ridenour between 2:00-3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17th. Walk-ins welcome.
Faxing Services
We don't charge for faxing to local or toll-free numbers; there is a small charge for long distance.

Have copies made for 10 cents per page.

Use our computer lab for internet access, emails, and projects.
USDA/CSFP Commodities Sign Ups
Must meet income & age 60+ eligibility requirements. Distribution is held the 3rd Friday of every month. Refer to our newsletter for commodity information.
Loan Closet
The Center has a limited amount of medical equipment--walkers, crutches, wheelchairs, commodes, etc. for "Short-term" loan to Seniors. Stop in between during business hours 8:00-4:00 to pick up and sign out a loan item.
